So it appears that for some reason or another, I've been banned from clan SCC. I got home from work last thursday to find out that both my SCC account and my bot had been banned from the channel. The only person with access higher than me is Duke so I figured that it must have been him...by mistake ofcourse.

I got on aim to ask him about it only to find out that he's blocked my screen name. Pretty unfortunate to say the least. I logged on a different screen name and asked him why he had banned me. I've also sent him a few PM's here on the forums to Duke regarding the issue but 3 days later here I am with no answer.

It would take a very good explanation for me to believe that it wasn't Duke who banned me and all of this was some huge coincidence. So I regret to inform you guys that I will no longer be associated with clan SCC.

I've been here for several years and have logged many an hour under the SCC tag. I've always tried to make decisions which I thought would benefit the team and I have also never stopped trying to better the clan (which could be the reason why I'm writing all of this).

Surprisingly, I don't harbor any ill feelings towards Duke or anyone else for that matter. I can only wish this team the best of luck in the future.

However, this doesn't mean that I'm going to crawl in a hole and never break out my broodwar cd again. East and West seem to be drying up in the shadow of the ever growing ICCUP server so it seems as though it would be in my best interest to migrate there. I have not decided whether I'll just go solo for a while or create my own team, it depends on a few things.

If you guys wish to keep in touch I'll be active on ICCUP and at the other website that I set up. I'll be in the process of removing most things SCC related from it over the next few days.

I'd also appreciate if it the mods could keep this open considering how long I've been with the clan.

So......if you make your own team what will you name it?

Not really, I thought everything had been going fine. He'd been asking me for advice on basic layouts for his new website and I gave him a few ideas. Incase you hadn't seen it yet, head on over to www.clanscc.net to see a mirror image of this website.

The whole banning thing was a bit out of the blue. I hope you guys stick around here so we can all keep in touch or maybe even create something new.

If he did ban you then I'm out of Clan SCC.

Maybe it is because you made a website then refused to take it down.. Not to mention you didn't even give duke access or moderator on it.. Duke did everything he could to make SCC.net how you wanted it. He is leader if he wants to make the website you should respect his wishes..

Micro, can't you see whether or not Duke unbans Cali that it doesn't matter? Why would he unban someone who was keeping SCC- alive for so long. All you do is post here and just come on east to noob bash here and their while Cali had a bot up/made this site and recruited people on a regular basis.

Most of the motivations behind what's happened the past couple of days have been pretty dumb and unnecessary. Unfortunately I am too busy right now to get involved before this spirals out of control.
